Matcha–best source of healing antioxidants

You can boost the healing power of your morning green smoothie with matcha. This special green powder made from green tea leaves is a powerful source of antioxidants. In fact it has 100x more antioxidants than standard green tea. As Michiganders we have an ama.zing local source of organic matcha in northern Michigan–the Light of Day Organics, a tea farm in Traverse City.  You can order teas online or take a tour when you are up there and buy some matcha.

Based on what I’ve read, matcha is for everybody, but especially for people battling disease. I put 1/4 teaspoon of matcha in each smoothie. I also swirl a bit of water in the empty smoothie mug to drink every last bit of matcha before washing the container.
